Dear All,
Executive member of Stem Cell Research Forum of India would like to invite you to first annual conference to be held from 29thJanuary to 1st February, 2007 at Bangalore, India.
There has been increasing activity in stem cell research in India over the past few years, in both the public and private sectors. India’s government initiatives in developing stem cell research are encouraging and reflect a growing worldwide trend that shows broadening government concern and support for stem cell research. Stem cell researchers have already achieved some encouraging results in India. The right policies, public-private partnership, funding and an increasing scientific base now contributing towards strengthening India's global position in stem cell research over the coming years.
With the aim of promoting and improving stem cell research in India, Stem Cell Research Forum of India (SCRFI), an Indian society for stem cell research has been established.
Stem Cell Research Forum of India jointly with Department of Biotechnology Government of India is organizing first annual conference of this society from 29th January to 1st February, 2007 at Bangalore.
This initiative is one of its kind and a stepping stone in harmonizing stem cell biologists and clinicians within and outside the country. Leading stem cell scientists from India and abroad will participate in this four-day conference in order to develop a multi-disciplinary network. We hope the outcome of this event will include a sustained network of stem cell researchers as well as long-term collaborative research proposals.
